The DairyPure® Mess Hall Was The Most Delicious Part Of The First Annual Camp Romper

Ah, summer camp. With its beaded friendship bracelets, canoe lake adventures, and comforting mess hall grub, those rustic weeks away will always hold a special place in the hearts of campers, no matter how old they get.

And it's easy to see why — there's nothing quite as pure as the bonds built, the memories made, and the fun had at summer camp. That's why Romper decided that this year, the start of fall shouldn't have to mean the end of camp.

On a sunny September Sunday in Brooklyn's Prospect Park, Romper held its first annual Camp Romper, a day-long event channeling the summertime vibes that defined our childhood.

And lucky for us, DairyPure® took over the mess hall, providing activities, memory-making moments, and most deliciously — mouthwatering food options for the whole family.

Here's what guests got to experience.

1. A Larger Than Life Milk Slide Into A Giant Bowl Of 'Cereal'

What kid doesn't dream of swimming in his or her favorite snack? DairyPure® created a one-of-a-kind slide where kids could cruise straight into a big bowl of cereal (read: ball pit).

And while kids had the time of their lives, parents got a special keepsake photo so they could remember this moment forever.

2. Carnival Games, Reimagined

To inspire some friendly competition and help create pure fun for kids and parents alike, the mess hall featured unique versions of everyone's favorite carnival games, like the milk bottle toss and the strong man hammer competition.

3. A Pure Dose Of Creativity

For families who were in the mood to express their artistic sides, a crafting station was set up so guests could let their imaginations run wild as they decorated their own milk cartons with art supplies.

4. A Milk Bar Featuring Everyone's Favorite Snacks

Inside the mess hall, guests enjoyed a cereal bar, sweet treats like donuts and cookies, and of course plenty of cold, refreshing DairyPure® milk.

The best part? There was a custom built replica of an old-timey milk truck, so guests were served a trip down memory lane every time they grabbed a snack.

The day was sweet, the moments were pure, and one thing's for sure — next year's Camp Romper can't come soon enough.
