What Time Does Ulta Open On Black Friday? The Store Is Going For A Marathon Sale

Ad failed to load

As a teenager, I loved going to the mall on Black Friday and experiencing the festive bustle of the holiday season's first official shopping day. In the years since, the internet has changed the game. One day of deals has extended to a week or more, and you don't have to leave your house to shop. In response, brick-and-mortar stores have gradually pushed back their Black Friday openings from dawn to midnight and now some retailers open on Thanksgiving. For makeup lovers, Walmart's opening is less important than Ulta's, but what time does Ulta open on Black Friday?

I couldn't find Ulta's Black Friday hours on their website, so I called my local store. They open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving evening and will stay open through the night, until 10 p.m. on Black Friday. So that's over 24 hours of non-stop makeup shopping fun. It's likely that these will be the hours of the entire chain, but it doesn't hurt to call your nearest Ulta to confirm. You can also shop online with "Cyber Fundays" Nov. 17 and Nov. 18 ahead of Cyber Monday. Ulta offers free shipping on orders of $35 and up. Here's a roundup of Black Friday deals on products that would be fun and/or useful for those on your shopping list.

Urban Decay's Nocturnal Shadow Box

Ulta Beauty

This Ulta exclusive is 50 percent off on Black Friday, making it only $14.50. It comes with 12 shades of eyeshadow designed to "take you from a long day at the office to late-night cocktails with that hot guy from the gym," according to the description on Ulta's site. If you're married with kids, it could take you from a long day at home or on the job to a Saturday girls' night out with your besties. Also included are two brushes for blending and smudging. Out of more than two hundred reviews, 98 percent of buyers say they would recommend this eyeshadow palette to a friend.

ECOTOOLS Highlight & Glow Brush Set

Ulta Beauty

This compact tool kit is already on sale for $11.99. It's made from recycled materials and renewable bamboo, and easy to store at home or on-the-go without losing any of the individual brushes. Whether you're a seasoned highlighter or new to beauty's hottest trend, this is an affordable way to get the brushes you need to recreate Kim Kardashian's glow. Or just look less tired than you actually are (for all the moms out there).

IT COSMETICS Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil

Ulta Beauty

My beauty game has fallen by the wayside since I had kids, but one thing I do almost everyday is use eyebrow powder. It's a quick and easy way to look a little more awake and put-together, two qualities that are severely lacking in my work-from-home mom life. I haven't tried IT's eyebrow pencil yet, but I love their mascara after an Ulta employee recommended it to me. This multi-tasking eyebrow pencil retails for $24, but will be 50 percent off on Black Friday.

Philosophy's Snow Angel Shampoo, Shower Gel, & Bubble Bath

Ulta Beauty

Take a little time for yourself with this seasonal scent from Philosophy. Personally, a hot bath is my favorite way to unwind and recover in the fall and winter. Instead of using your kids' bubble bath, have something that's just for you (and doesn't smell like bubble gum). Normally $18, this three-in-one cleanser will be $12 on Black Friday.

Stocking Stuffers

There are some other great items from Ulta that could make your stocking stuffers list complete.
