Corinne's Ex Shares Some Insight To 'Bach' Fans

by Megan Walsh

Whenever a contestant starts to take on some prominence in a season of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, people from their past usually starting popping up on social media and in magazines. JoJo Fletcher's season was plagued with off-screen drama, from the interview her ex gave that ended up stirring brief drama in the house to the rumors sparked by Jordan Rodgers' ex about how their relationship ended (spoiler alert: not well). Now that Corinne is making such an impact on Nick Viall's season of The Bachelor, it comes as no surprise that one of her exes has decided to give an interview. But who is Corinne's ex?

Corinne's ex is named Keith Berman, and he recently sat down with Us Weekly for a chat. He runs a blog called "Live From The Gutter" where he elaborates a little on his statements to Us Weekly, but most of the posts on the blog are private (though some of the post titles sure are.... interesting). Berman asserted that he and Corinne never actually dated, just "had a little fling" a couple of years ago, but stayed in touch. He also went on to say that everything Corinne does on The Bachelor is strategic, intended to gain her maximum exposure — and it's working.

In the interview with Us Weekly, Berman was full of praise for Corinne, saying, "It's right up her alley. She's got a great personality for it. I was pumped that she was on it. I knew she would kill it, honestly." He claimed that her persona on the show is exaggerated, though not inaccurate; she's just playing up the extremes for the camera. He also said that Corinne was "very aggressive," but later denied saying so in an Instagram post. "She wasn't 'very aggressive' never once did I use that quote! Us Weekly stirring the pot," Berman captioned a picture of the article.

Berman had more to say about Corinne on his blog, though he mostly confirmed the things he had said to Us Weekly (he does refer to her as "aggressive" in the post). "You think Corinne doesn't know exactly what she's doing?! HA! She's been playing this game her whole life, now she's just doing it on national TV," Berman wrote. He also said that Corinne has "wayyy more depth then they'll ever show you on TV," claiming that they would talk on the phone for hours about anything that came up.

Berman had positive things to say about Corinne, among them that she knows how to play to her strengths, which, in his estimation, are "being flirty, energetic, sexyyy, and a ton of fun." (The Y key on his computer appears to be stuck). He also said that she "made The Bachelor GREAT AGAIN!"

It seems like Berman is supportive of Corinne's turn on TV and predicts that she'll be able to parlay it into future success.
