A lot has changed in the past few decades...
Smith has said that Rupp as the sweet but sassy Kitty is a big reason he returned to the show. Rupp, who also boasts an executive producer credit for the series, had previously said that she was all too happy to step back into the role.
Grace will guest-star on the show, and was excited to work with the cast again, telling Entertainment Tonight, “They are all such amazing people who are so influential in my life and who I became.”
Prepon will also guest star in the series, and told Us Weekly the experience was “so fun.” “It’s all the same sets,” she said. “When I first went there, I cried.”
For Kutcher, the show not only launched him to stardom, but into his marriage. He told Variety “We thought, ‘Listen, we’re only in the position that we’re in because of that show, so let’s just go back."
Kunis will guest star as Jackie, a character who wound up married to Kelso (played by her IRL husband) and she’s skeptical. “I called B.S.,” she told Variety. “I was like, ‘My character would be with Fez.’”
Valderrama will join his cast mates reprising Fez (a jokey acronym for “foreign exchange student) for a guest appearance. He teased Instagram followers with a sneak peak back in May.
Chong wasn’t sure if he was going to be invited back to guest star in the series, but when he got the call he accepted, feeling as though no time had passed. “It could have been yesterday,” he told Variety.
