Hocus Pocus 2 Gives Us A Glimpse Of The Sanderson Sisters As Kids

Disney+ After nearly three decades, fans are finally able to catch up with the Sanderson Sisters in Hocus Pocus 2 on Disney+. Both the kid and adult version, in fact. Which was a lovely surprise. Note: Some spoilers are Hocus Pocus 2 are ahead.

Hocus Pocus 2 opens on the young Sanderson sisters hiding in the Forbidden Woods when the people of Salem try to separate them. Winnie, Sarah, and Mary meet a witch who sets them on their famous path.

Disney+ Young Winnifred Sanderson Taylor Paige-Henderson plays young Winnie, and she’s pitch perfect as the de facto head of the sisters, taking matters into her own hands.

Disney+ Winnifred Sanderson Now Bette Midler is back in her iconic role as Winnifred Sanderson, eater of children and singer of songs.

Disney+ Young Mary Sanderson Little Mary Sanderson, played by Nina Christina Kitchen , is all about keeping her sisters calm in that calming circle. Especially volatile Winnie.

Disney Mary Sanderson Now It’s tough to tell if poor Mary Sanderson (Kathy Najimy) is really as witchy as her sisters or just really wants to keep Winnifred happy. Either way, she’s hilarious.

Disney+ Young Sarah Sanderson Juju Journey Brenner as young Sarah Sanderson embodies the spirit of her as an adult; vain, silly, and ready to follow her sisters to the ends of the earth.

Disney Sarah Sanderson Now As the youngest of the Sanderson Sisters, Sarah (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) plays an important role. She’s the one whose song puts children in a trance so they can all eat them. Nice to have a hobby.
