Everything Coming To Netflix In February, Giving You Plenty To Stream Come Snow Days
February: It's too cold to go outside, kids are home from school for February break or unexpected snow days, and you're already over your New Year's resolution to be more productive. So, are you looking for something to do this month? We've got you covered, with the list of everything coming to Netflix in February.
Netflix is always full of what feels like unlimited options for great television and stand-out movies. But if you love Netflix like another child, chances are you've already streamed most of the titles that catch your eye. But, since the streaming service never disappoints you, you know that each month it adds a host of new shows, specials and movies to its roster. Which is very exciting.
It can be overwhelming to scroll through the many titles on Netflix. I've definitely been there — there's almost too many options, and, overcome by the vast variety, I give up and watch Gilmore Girls for the umpteenth time. If you do want to watch something fresh, though, it's good to have a plan. Knowing ahead of time what's coming to Netflix gets you excited, like a preview for a movie coming to theaters.
So, I've complied a list of everything coming to the streaming service this month, so you can mark your calendars and get super stoked about what you'll be watching come Feb. 26 (because only the most exciting thing ever is coming to Netflix on Feb. 26!). Here are nine of my top picks for watching this month, followed by the complete list of titles getting added next month.
Atonement
Watching Kiera Knightley in a period piece is always enchanting, but if you're watching Atonement this month, it's all about Saoirse Ronan. Ronan has been nominated this year for the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Brooklyn, but she made her first Oscars appearance when she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in Atonement — at age 13! Watch where it all begane, when the movie becomes available on Netflix Feb. 16.
Mad Men, Season 7: Part 2
Sure, many fans of the series were upset with the way things ended, but if you haven't seen all of Mad Men yet, you're missing out on a cultural icon. The final season comes to Netflix on Feb. 5, so make sure you're caught up on the previous six and a half seasons by then.
Scooby Doo
If you're looking for a fun, family film, you can't go wrong with the Mystery Incorporated gang. And it stars real-life super couple Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. (as a blonde!) as Daphne and Fred. Scooby Doo comes to Netflix on Feb. 1, and is a perfect movie for any snow days your kids might have.
Cruel Intentions
This dark '90s classic comes to Netflix on Feb. 1, and is a must-watch if you haven't already seen it. Starring a young Reese Witherspoon, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ryan Phillippe, this film focuses on the world of Manhattan's elite, teenage hormones, and the complicated art of seduction.
Talladega Nights: The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby
This very well might be Will Ferrell's funniest movie to date (except for maybe Elf). Make sure you watch it right when it comes to Netflix on Feb. 1, because "If you ain't first, you're last."
Armageddon
Who doesn't love a good space thriller? Armageddon is one of those action-packed, high-intensity, save-the-world films that gets your heart rate speeding. Available on Netflix Feb. 1.
Charlie's Angels
Good morning, Angels! This girl-power flick shows just how badass women can be — fighting crazy crime, all while still looking fabulous. It's super fun, incredibly iconic, and worth the watch once it comes to Netflix on Feb. 1.
Better Call Saul, Season 1
For fans of Breaking Bad, this spinoff series is an essential watch. And even if you didn't follow the story of Walter White, you can still enjoy the intensity of Better Call Saul. The first season comes to Netflix Feb. 1, and is perfect binging for a cold, snowy day.
Fuller House
The world waits with bated breath for the Fuller House series release on Feb.26. Clearly people are excited to be back in the Tanner home!
