As I recounted 2022 and looked forward to 2023, something kept coming up: bears. It seems that bears of all varieties, actual and metaphorical, are thriving right now. I thought it would be useful to take a look at the pop culture bears of the last year and year to come.
Fat Bear Week
Since 2014, Fat Bear Week has celebrated the chonky bears of Alaska’s Katmai National Park as they prepare for winter in a March Madness style bracket. In 2022, Bear 747 was declared the corpulent champion. Who will win big in 2023?
