The holidays are just around the corner and it can be a very stressful time. Wrapping gifts, baking cookies, decorating the tree, running from holiday party to holiday party. Ugh, I'm already tired. It might be nice to have a low key Christmas this year. And when I say low key I mean skipping your in-law's house and taking your family to a casual dinner. Oh, wouldn't it be amazing to not have to worry about cooking? Take your kids to a family-friendly restaurant open on Christmas Eve and let someone else take care of the dishes for once.

You can keep it simple and relaxed at AppleBee's (maybe they will have their half-price appetizers special) or if you want to be a little more classy McCormick & Schmick's will be open too. There's also my personal favorite: a Chinese food buffet. I mean, what better way to celebrate the holidays than by devouring unlimited crab legs? It is up to you and your family to decide what kind of celebration you want to have. Either way, it will keep your kitchen tidy, and your family happy.

So, before you head out to the grocery store this year, check out this amazing list of family-friendly restaurants that will be open for Christmas Eve.
