11 Celebrities Who Aren't Ashamed To Breastfeed In Public

by Lindsay E. Mack

Breastfeeding is one of the most natural things in the universe, but some people still get squeamish around moms who choose (or in some cases, need) to feed their babies in public. Even if that mom is an A-list star. Yes, many celebrity moms breastfeed in public. Actresses, singers, and models alike are feeding their babies at photo shoots, tours, and any other place their lives take them. And although these celebrity moms may have the benefit of professional stylists and photographers on hand, their message is the same as any mom’s — breastfeeding is totally normal, and you shouldn’t be ashamed to nurse in public. It isn’t like a hungry baby cares whether you’re out on set or someplace private. When it’s chow time, you have to respond.

While many of the “Stars — They’re Just Like Us”-type comparisons often fall short, this one hits close to home for many nursing moms. And, lucky for them, celebrity moms are sharing their nursing moments on social media as a way to raise awareness and remove the stigma of breastfeeding in public. So here is a curated collection of the celebrities who don’t are helping to normalize public breastfeeding one selfie at a time.
