Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I know that I am not alone. There's something thrilling about being someone (or something) else for a day. This is why I truly love hosting costume parties. Nothing is more exciting than opening your front door and finding Raggedy Ann and Elvis Presley in place of your sister and brother-in-law. I will go all out for these kinds of events, whipping up spooky treats and Halloween drinks for kids and adults alike.

I can't get enough of Halloween, so sometimes I host two parties, a family-friendly one so that I can include my kids, and then a grown-ups only shindig where zombified parents (like me) can let loose and monster mash with a drink in hand. I always make sure to have plenty of extra sheets, blankets, and pillows in case my mummies and vampires partake too heavily on the "blood" and "guts".

At my family events, I let the kids be mad scientists and concoct some of their own food and drink experiments. A sliver or two of dry ice, and the drink tray is smoking like a witches cauldron. These are the best of times.

Here are some devilishly delicious drinks you can make for your own Halloween bash.
