With Mother's Day only a few weeks away (it's May 8, by the way) you'd be doing yourself a favor to start brainstorming gift ideas early. I've fallen into the wait-till-the-night-before category myself a time or two, and I can say that planning ahead certainly has its benefits. There's nothing more special than a handmade gift and, as luck would have it, moms swoon over all things DIY.
