17 Netflix Shows To Watch While Breastfeeding, Because You Deserve A Distraction

It's no secret that breastfeeding comes with its fair share of downtime. Between 3 a.m. nursing sessions and daytime sessions that turn into nap time, you might be stuck on the couch for longer than you'd care to admit. Luckily, there are plenty of Netflix shows to watch while breastfeeding that will help relieve any boredom you might experience during said late-night nursing sessions or when your baby falls asleep and you can't reach your phone.

Aside from all of the incredible bonding that happens and physical benefits for you both, breastfeeding can be the perfect excuse every mom needs to just chill for a few minutes. You don't have to multi-task. You don't have to be productive. Sometimes it's good for both of you to just take a break during the windows of time that you breastfeed each day — and if you want to fill those windows of time with a few binge-worthy shows, I won't stop you.

Although the act of watching TV itself doesn't hold any magical powers as far as your milk supply or nursing relationship goes, these next 17 shows are perfect for nursing moms and will have you feeling all of the feels — and that extra boost of oxytocin during a nursing session can only help, right?

1. 'Jane The Virgin'

After getting accidentally artificially inseminated with a specimen meant for another patient, Jane Villanueva, the virgin, navigates pregnancy and motherhood in a hilarious and heartfelt way.
