Being a mom means your job is to care for others almost all the time. During the holidays, what any mom wants more than anything is to be pampered, whether that's with fancy soap or a new iPad — anything that will transport her away from reality and give her a moment of peace, if only for a few seconds. It took becoming a mom myself to finally understand just how much moms appreciate to be utterly pampered, even an eye mask (to upgrade from the leftover one I had been using from a flight) was enough to send me over the moon — it was the most glorious present I could have received.
