2016 Grammy Nominations Include Taylor Swift, But Prove '1989' Isn't The Only Album To Pay Attention To

She's taken over the Billboard charts, Instagram, and your Spotify account, so why wouldn't she take over the Grammys as well? Yes, it was inevitable that Taylor Swift's 2016 Grammy nominations would be numerous following the release of 1989, an album that sold a whopping 1.2 million copies in its first week. But the list of nominees, announced by Alicia Keys on CBS Monday, also proves there is plenty of competition for T-Swift, no matter how much you simply cannot get "Shake It Off," "Bad Blood," and literally every other song she's ever written out of her head. Including from Kendrick Lamar, the artist leading the nominations with 11 nods.

Though we couldn't count on the world's current obsession, Adele, to be a big nominee this year (her 25 did not qualify this go-round), there was still plenty of reason to tune in to Good Morning America Monday morning to check out the nominees in the big categories, like Best New Artist and Song Of The Year. So who has made the cut for the 2016 awards? See below for the full list, which will be updated as the nominees are announced live. And, Taylor, you might as well start making room on your trophy shelf now.
