4 Easy Spider-Man Costumes For Pregnant Women, Because You're A Superhero, Too

Since you found out you were expecting, you've had to give up soft cheeses, cut back on caffeine, and avoid happy hour all together. But being pregnant doesn't have to mean that you have to miss out on all of the fun, especially on Halloween. In fact, it can be even more fun to find creative ways to make your belly a part of your costume. If you're looking for a way to transform into a web-slinging superhero this Halloween, you're going to need some ideas for Spider-Man costumes for pregnant women that will accommodate your baby bump.

Being a mom already makes you something of a superhero, but just in case you wanted to let the rest of the world know, you can pull together a cool DIY Spider-Man costume with just a few basic pieces and minimal effort. The Spidey suit is a pretty iconic costume, so it isn't hard to find the pieces you need to make it work. You can add makeup and accessories (yes, I mean a web shooter) to make yourself look even more authentic. And since it's likely that your costume will be made entirely of stretchy fabrics, you can be sure you'll be able to trick or treat all night long in complete comfort.

You probably won't be in any condition to climb the walls of a tall building or save New York City from dangerous villains for a few more months, but you can definitely look the part this Halloween in just a few easy steps.

You may have a hard time finding a Spidey suit in your size right now, but that doesn't mean that you can't make an extra comfy one yourself. Transform yourself into Spider-Mom with a pair of blue leggings ($25, Pink Blush Maternity), red t-shirt ($20, Old Navy), and this fun pair of Spidey socks ($12, Super Hero Stuff) . If you want to make the top look more authentic, you can find a stencil of the iconic Spiderman symbol and draw or paint it on the t-shirt. And of course, no Spidey costume would be complete without a web slinger ($19, Walmart).

2Spidey Chic

If you want something different than the traditional Spider-Man colors, you can go as Venom, the symbiote who camped out inside your favorite superhero. You can recreate your own version of the look by starting with a pair of coated skinny jeans ($50, H&M). Break out your scissors and cut a web pattern out of fitted black t-shirt ($20, Gap), and layer over a white tank top ($13, Old Navy).

3Peter Parker

If spandex leggings aren't your thing, you can always opt for Spider-Man's alter ego, Peter Parker. Whether you're partial to Andrew Garfield or Tobey Maguire or Tom Holland, it's hard to resist the adorable computer geek. This comfy and casual look is super easy to pull together with a hoodie ($32, Old Navy), peeking Spider Man t-shirt ($30, Cafe Press), and skinny jeans ($40, H&M).

4Scarlet Spider Man

Stay nice and warm while you fight crime all around Gotham in a Scarlet Spider-Man costume. You can get the look with a simple pair of red leggings ($3, Walmart), red hoodie ($19), and blue fleece vest ($45, LL Bean).
