Granted, when you’re dealing with the aftermath of a breakup or you’ve just lost a loved one, primping might be pretty low on your list of priorities. But if you’re in a funk and feeling pretty down, putting a little effort into your appearance may help lift your spirits. Not to mention that looking good when you’re feeling bad doesn’t require a ton of energy, which is a great thing because you don’t have much to spare when you’re feeling down.
You shouldn’t feel obligated to partake in any beauty routine that you don’t want to, whether you’re feeling awesome or awful. Your body, your choice, right? But if you want to find ways to look better than you feel, here are some small things you can do that make a huge difference.
