9 DIY Beauty Treatments For A Relaxing At Home Spa Night

by Shannon Fiedler

Sometimes, you just need to treat yo' self. After a week full of working, fulfilling social obligations, doing laundry, and who knows what else, you're probably a little bit stressed and a lot a bit exhausted. Your skin and soul are begging you for a relaxing and revitalizing night. And while a getaway to a glamorous spa might not be in the cards this weekend, that doesn't mean you can't indulge yourself in your own amazing, at-home DIY spa treatments

You can easily ago out and buy designer facial masks and exfoliants, but there's no need to spend the extra dough on something that comes in a bottle if you don't want to. There are plenty of scrubs and lotions you can make with products you already have in your home, and the added bonus is you know exactly what's in everything you're using.

So put your phone on silent (or, if you're a real risk taker, turn it off entirely), light the candles, turn on some relaxing music and enjoy these homemade spa treatments from the comfort of your own bedroom. You'll be amazed at how easy they are to make, and at how refreshed and calm you'll feel afterward.

1

All Natural Face Mask

Girl Loves Glam's homemade face mask moisturizes your skin and gives you a healthy glow. Plus, it's made entirely of ingredients you likely already have in your kitchen, like oatmeal and honey.

2

Yolk And Avocado Hair Mask

Don't feel like taking a trip to the salon, but want to give your hair some love? Cosmopolitan's hair mask gives your locks a deep conditioning to keep them looking luscious. Plus it gives you a good reason to stay in the shower for over 20 minutes.

3

Detox Body Wrap

Body wraps don't have to be exclusive to spas — Hello Natural's homemade body wrap gives you all the same benefits of a spa day treatment without having to leave the house. Mix the body wrap, then wrap yourself up in an old bed sheet and just relax.

4

Wrinkle Smoothing Wine Facial

Two of your favorite things in one: facials and wine. Real Simple's wine facial uses the drink's natural antioxidant to repair sun damage on the skin. (With whatever you don't use in mixing your mask, feel free to pour yourself a hefty glass.)

5

Pumpkin Spice Face Mask

Forget the PSL, the PSFM is way more exciting. Hello Natural's face mask uses pumpkin and apple to exfoliate, moisturize and get rid of dead skin. And it does it all with a nice, fall scent.

6

Cornmeal Banana Foot Scrub

Our feet do a lot of work for us, and rarely do we give them the love they deserve. But with Fitness's foot scrub, you can show your tootsies some appreciation and give yourself a smoothing foot massage. (Or better yet, make your SO give you the massage.)

7

Grapefruit Cellulite Scrub

Hello Natural's cellulite scrub is made from essential oils, and can help your skin look as smooth as a baby's, well, you know.

8

Baking Soda Exfoliant

Girl Loves Glam's natural exfoliant couldn't be simpler to make — just mix water and baking soda. Seriously, that's it. You're just one step away from smoother skin.

9

Vanilla Sugar Cookie Body Scrub

Honestly, who even cares what it does for your skin, it smells like Christmas cookies. But the good news is that Hello Natural's sugar cookie body scrub will in fact have your skin feeling fresher and smoother, all while giving you a crazy craving for baked goods. Best of both worlds.
