9 No-Bake Pies That Make Your Dessert Dreams A Reality

by Kelly Anne Bonner

Creamy, silky, rich: these are the adjectives that come to mind when musing about no-bake pies. You could also say they’re the stuff that dreams are made of, or that they happen to taste like floating away on a cloud. (Now I’m just riffing here.) Regardless of how you like to describe them, these desserts featuring tempting combinations of soft chocolate, peanut butter, bananas, and caramel with twists of mint, coffee, pumpkin are totally worth fantasizing about.

Aside from the taste (or shall we say experience), the other benefit to making one of these guys is the fact that you get to take the “bake” part out of the equation when preparing one. For those who have no kitchen prowess to speak of, it’s easy to whip one of these up quite easily. No-bake pies do require some patience, as you’ll have to walk away from the refrigerator and wait for them to set (I know — it's hard.)

but at the very least there is no possibility of burning your creation, or getting a sad, flat dessert that for some reason didn’t rise. For when you’re not feeling like doing the whole oven thing, here are nine delectable recipes for smooth, whipped no-bake pies.
