Does Your Starbucks Serve The Lady Gaga Drinks?

by Kristina Johnson

On Monday, June 12, Starbucks released it's latest line of refreshing beverages — Cups of Kindness. Unlike the company's more recent colorful creations, however, these new beverages come with a philanthropic perk. For every drink purchased, Starbucks will donate 25 cents to Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation. But does every Starbucks have Lady Gaga's Cups of Kindness drinks? Fans of the the singer and Starbucks are in luck.

Like millions of Gaga's Little Monsters, Starbucks' director of Music and Artist Programming Holly Hinton said in a press release that the company has "admired the amazing work that Lady Gaga has led through Born This Way Foundation" and that it's proud to "raise awareness and fund the Foundation’s efforts to spread kindness, support youth and make the world a better place.” The Born This Way Foundation's mission is to support young people by offering access to mental health resources and creating positive environments. That includes programs like Channel Kindness, which lets young people report on stories of kindness and acceptance from their communities.

There are four different drinks to choose from in the campaign, two of which are on the menu for the first time. There's the Matcha Lemonade — matcha green tea mixed with lemonade and served over ice — and the Violet Drin — Very Berry Hibiscus refreshers mixed with coconut milk. If you're not feeling either of those, you could always stick with old favorites like the Pink Drink — a Strawberry Acai refresher mixed with coconut milk and topped with real strawberries — or the Ombré Pink Drink — the Cool Lime Starbucks refreshers with coconut milk, Teavana Shaken Iced Passion Tango tea, and a lime wheel. All the drinks are nondairy, so you can hit up with your local Starbucks with a vegan or lactose intolerant friend if you'd like.

A public relations representative for the Starbucks brand tells Romper that the drinks are available at all U.S. locations. A tall will cost you $2.95, a grande goes for $3.45, and a venti is $3.95.

The Cups of Kindness campaign runs from now until June 19, so if you want a portion of your purchase to benefit Lady Gaga's foundation, be sure to stop in before then.
