Rachel & Dean Could Be Endgame On 'The Bachelorette'

by Chrissy Bobic

When the season began, it was hard to overlook Dean's comment to Rachel about going black and never going back, but it didn't take long for him to show another side of himself that Rachel seemed to like right away. So does Rachel end up with Dean on The Bachelorette? After their one-on-one date Monday night, she said she does see a future with him, so as it stands, there's a really good chance that Dean is endgame for her.

While it's true that the age difference might have initially deterred her (Rachel is 32, while Dean's 26), he more than made up for that six year age difference when he opened up to Rachel about his mother's death and his childhood in general. It was a very real moment between the two of them and instead of coming across as weird or too soon, it seemed totally natural for the two of them to connect in that way.

With all of that in mind, it's entirely possible that Rachel ends up with Dean on The Bachelorette. He was one of the four surprise contestants who showed up to meet her on After the Final Rose, weeks before her season officially began — and when he arrived at the Bachelor Mansion on the Season 13 premiere of The Bachelorette, she seemed to take an immediate interest in him.

While this might just be speculation, it's also hard to ignore the fact that Nick's season of The Bachelor involved a date in an aircraft where the contestant (Vanessa) got sick, only to be consoled by him and eventually win the season. In Rachel's case, Dean overcame his fear of heights to ride in the blimp with her, even though he seemed like he might get sick at any minute. Could this be a sign that the season will end much like Season 21 of The Bachelor? It probably means nothing this early in the game, but it's also very clear that Dean is one of Rachel's favorites, if not her most favorite contestant overall right now.

After their one-on-one date, she said that she could see a future for the two of them and that she appreciated the way he opened up to her. If he can keep the momentum going and stay out of the crossfire of the drama building between Lee and Kenny, there's a good chance that Dean will continue to woo Rachel and vice-versa. He definitely has a shot at winning her over.
