Chip & Joanna Gaines Have A New Vacation Rental, & Spoiler: It’s Gorgeous

by Gillian Walters

Fixer Upper stars Chip and Joanna Gaines always have something exciting in the works for their fans. Throughout the years, Chip and Joanna have launched successful businesses outside of their television show, including Waco, Texas' famed Magnolia Market and a vacation rental known as the Magnolia Stay. On Wednesday, the couple announced their second vacation rental, and as expected, it looks spectacular. So naturally, fans are wondering how to stay at Chip and Joanna Gaines' Hillcrest Estate.

According to an Instagram post from Joanna, the Hillcrest Estate was first built in 1903. To respect the integrity and history of the mansion, Chip and Joanna spent a lot of time restoring the rental to reflect its innate beauty and "old world charm." Considering Chip and Joanna have a deep love for their hometown of Waco, one would assume they put a lot of consideration and effort into the landmark's renovations.

The announcement, posted to Joanna's Instagram, read:

We are now opening another vacation rental! Chip and I had so much fun restoring this old Waco icon and cannot wait to welcome guests starting this fall. This house dates back to 1903 and we definitely kept its old world charm—our hope is that friends and families from all over can make lasting memories here during their visit to Waco. Our newsletter subscribers will hear all about when and how to book the Hillcrest Estate, so be sure you’re signed up (link in profile) - and don’t miss out on the news! #Hillcrest Estate.

As for the logistics of the rental, it sleeps "12 comfortably" and boasts seven bedrooms and three and a half baths, according to Bravo TV. In comparison, the Magnolia Stay sleeps eight people and has a total of six bedrooms.

A description of the new rental reads, according to Magnolia Market:

Hillcrest Estate is a beautiful, historic home in the heart of Waco, Texas that was stuck in a time gone by. A renovation by the Magnolia Homes team infused fresh, updated features with the home’s original details and character. This home sleeps 12 comfortably, making it the perfect place to gather with friends and family for a weekend away.

The best news is that the Hillcrest Estate will become available in September, and fans have a chance to win a free two-night stay at the property once it opens for business. The prize also includes an "exclusive rooftop tour of the property" and a "$500 dollar gift card," according to Magnolia Market. The only catch is fans must sign-up for Magnolia emails, which seems like small price to pay considering the Hillcrest Estate is nothing short of phenomenal.

If you're not interested in the giveaway, you can book a reservation from September through December starting on August 8, according to Joanna and Chip's newsletter.
