Here's How Long Khloe Kardashian & Tristan Thompson Have Been Together

by Danielle Campoamor

Sorry, folks, but apparently there just aren't enough Kardashians in the world. After news broke that Kylie Jenner, 20, was expecting her first child, Us Weekly has reported that older sister Khloé Kardashian is also pregnant with boyfriend, Tristan Thompson's, baby. So, how long have Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson been together? Whether the couple has been together for months or years, one thing's for certain: a baby will change a couple. Regardless.

Romper has reached out to Kardashian's representatives, but did not hear back at the time of publication.

According to People, Kardashian and Thompson started a whirlwind of dating rumors around August, 2016. TMZ first spotted the couple together at a Beverly Hills club, Bootsy Bellows, and, if you're not well-versed in Hollywood talk, being photographed with a member of the opposite sex obviously means you two are dating. What was more damning, however, was the Mexican getaway the now-couple was photographed enjoying in November of the same year. A chance meet-up at a Los Angeles club? Sure. Spending time together in beautiful Mexico? Well, that's perhaps a little harder to explain (unless the word "relationship" shows up a time or two). The Mexico sighting prompted sister, Kim Kardashian, to address the Khloé/Thompson dating rumors on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, where Kim said:

"So, I see pictures of Khloé with some NBA player, and even though I know not to believe everything on the internet, Khloé and a NBA player do go hand in hand," Kim said on KUWTK. "It's my sister. Of course, I want to know who she's hooking up with."

Of course, everyone knows Khloé, 33, from her family's hit reality television show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and her numerous entrepreneurial endeavors. But what about Thompson? The 26-year-old is a center for the NBA Cleveland Cavaliers, and Kardashian previously joked on the season 13 finale of Keeping Up With The Kardashians that she would like to have enough children for the couple to start up their own basketball team, according to US Weekly.

"He wants to have, like, five or six kids with me, and that's lovely. We could start at one and then grow from there. But now, knowing I'm not on birth control, it's really scary. It's like a really big step."

The couple is currently enjoying a long-distance relationship, but that doesn't mean they don't spend enough time together to make a baby more than a joke on the finale episode of a show. According to an US Weekly source, Kardashian flies to Cleveland to see Thompson every week. "Things are going well. The relationship is very serious," the source said. Going well? Things are serious? No birth control? Guys, if that's not a recipe for a baby, I don't know what is.

And if you're really looking for an obvious sign that a baby might very well be in the couple's future, according to People, Thompson quickly gained the approval of Kardashian's mother and manager, Kris Jenner. People wrote, "Looks like Khloé isn’t the only Kardashian that Thompson has won over: The reality star posted this super-cuddly photo on her Snapchat account, featuring a grinning Jenner."

So, let's recap: Kardashian isn't on birth control, wants children, her boyfriend wants children, they're happy albeit in a long-distance relationship, and Kardashian's mom approves of the pair's relationship? While it's in bad taste to assume a woman is pregnant — no matter how famous she is or how many outlets report that she is — until she says so, all signs point to another Kardashian baby.

With everything that's going on in the world, some happy baby news isn't the worst push notification to come our way on a random afternoon. I say congratulations, Khloé and company!
