How The Full Moon Is Going to Ramp Up the Drama This Week

It's true: Your zodiac sign can offer insight into plenty of random moments in your everyday life, from how you can best tackle your toddler's worst tantrums to identifying your career goals. Romper partnered with astrologer Maressa Brown to share how you can make what's going on up in the sky work for you and score even more bliss and balance in your day-to-day. Here's your weekly horoscope for September 5-10.

After three weeks of driving you insane with delays, technology meltdowns, miscommunications, and ridiculous traffic, Mercury finally ends its retrograde on Tuesday, September 5. It'll take another couple weeks for it to work its way back to normal, but at least we're on our way to being back on track. That same day, Mars, the planet of action, moves from Leo into Virgo, adding a vibe of perfectionism and focus on detail to how you work toward goals. Fitting for back-to-school season!

Look out for the emotional full moon in artistic, empathetic Pisces. Its effect will be felt for four days before and after its exact date: Wednesday, September 6. Deep conversations and dramatic moments might pop up, related to closing one chapter (like enjoying the last hurrah of summer with your fam or putting the kibosh on a relationship), so that you can ultimately start another.

Aries (March 21–April 19)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

You usually want to just steamroll through all of your to-dos — get the kids to their activities, pay the bills, check work assignments off of your list, etc. — but you may have no choice but to face some deep-rooted, emotional issues around Wednesday when the full moon is in your twelfth house of spirituality. Do your best to sit with and work through whatever uncomfortable feels crop up. Sure, it's not fun, but it is necessary, cuz the more you fight it, the ruder the awakening.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

A team project at work or maybe with other moms in your neighborhood could be coming to its natural endpoint around Wednesday's full moon in your eleventh house of networking. You'll want to tie up the loose ends and just be done with it and onto the next big thing, but try to take a moment to be present and pat yourself on the back for a job well done, damn it! You deserve it!

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

All you wanna do is check those to-dos off of your list, start that new job, get the kids into their school year routine, or do all of the above without any extraneous annoyances, obviously. But around Wednesday's full moon in your tenth house of career, you might be tested with an emotionally heavy situation related to your professional track (maybe some friction with a higher-up or colleagues). You're usually pretty good at glossing over and talking your way out of this kinda thing, but you'll do well to go deep and figure out the root of the issue now.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

Now that the planet of travel, Mercury, is direct in your second house of income, you might be looking at planning a vacay in the next month or so. And the vision of what you want that to look like — maybe taking turns with your bae baby-wearing while you explore a faraway city or hang poolside at a resort — gets even clearer around Wednesday's full moon in your ninth house of adventure. Go for it, mama!

Leo (July 23-August 22)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

On Tuesday, communicator Mercury starts moving forward again in your sign, and around Wednesday, the full moon is in your eighth house of sexual intimacy, so you're gonna be feeling back on track, especially when it comes to matters of the heart—and getting laid! Tell your bae exactly what you want, and don't hold back. OK, sure you may have to plan ahead to book the sitter or a playdate, but it'll come together – and really pay off. Wink wink.

Virgo (August 23-September 22)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

If you've been putting off an important conversation, time's up around Wednesday. The full moon falls in your seventh house of partnership, meaning you'll need to work with your bae, BFF, parent, closest colleague, etc. to address an ongoing issue (like not seeing eye-to-eye on a parenting strategy or a business project). Thankfully, your ruling planet, Mercury, isn't bungling conversations as much as it has been the past three weeks, so more open lines of communication help you get in sync.

Libra (September 23-October 22)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

You know that a part of your daily grind is just not working, but you've been reticent to switch things up. Well, you may have no choice but to finally make some major changes (like trading day care pickup duties with your bae or asking work for flex time) around Wednesday's full moon in your sixth house of routine and wellness. If you start freaking that you don't wanna rock the boat RN, remember that your emotional and physical well-being depends on it.

Scorpio (October 23-November 21)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

If you've been wanting to get spontaneously sexy with your bae, the mood should totally strike around Wednesday when the full moon is in your fifth house of romance. Once your L.O. is in bed, hit up the shower or just consider experimenting with that new toy or position. Going with the flow and really opening yourself up emotionally can bring your relationship to a whole new, wild level now. Hot.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

You might be finishing up a long-term, domestic project (like planning a renovation or solidifying plans for a family reunion) around Wednesday when the full moon is in your fourth house of home life. Last-minute changes and moodiness (your L.O.'s, your partner's, both!) could make you want to pull your hair out. But know that there's light at the end of the tunnel. Seriously. Good luck!

Capricorn (December 22-January 19)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

Between Wednesday's full moon in your third house of communication and with communication-ruling Mercury's forward move in your eighth house of sexual intimacy, you can be more direct about what you need from your partner. Maybe its space or more one-on-one time or for him or her to take on more diaper changes or nighttime feedings, because you could use some freakin' help/that would really turn you on. Either way, mama. Speak your truth.

Aquarius (January 20-February 18)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

If you've been networking and seeking a new source of cash flow, it could finally pop up thanks to Wednesday's full moon in your second house of income. Or maybe you'll have a brainstorm about how you can make some extra cash on the side from home, in a way that feels really supportive of your work-life balance (like an Etsy store). Basically, if your gut check feels right, you should definitely go for it.

Pisces (February 19-March 20)

You may need to take a microscope to an ongoing wellness or emotional issue around Wednesday when the full moon is in your sign. Maybe you'll be ready to take your self-care routine to the next level (with meditation, talk therapy, acupuncture, PT, yoga, etc.) Don't be afraid to ask for what you need from your partner and emotional support system, and then take the situation into your own hands. You've got this!
