Is Ben Higgins A Bad Kisser? The 'Bachelor's Main Man Is A Little Bit Awkward

Bachelor Ben is winning all the ladies this season. He's cute, he's kind, he cares about the girls losing their minds, and he's not shy about getting his smooch on. But there's just one teensy problem: it looks like Ben Higgins is a bad kisser. Like, the worst kind.

We don't have any confirmation from the girls themselves. In fact, they're basically tearing each other apart for more "alone time" with Ben. Sure, they want to win his heart and get to know him, but alone time is really all about upping the chances of getting to pucker up. Just halfway into episode three, Ben has kissed Olivia, Caila, Jennifer, JoJo, Jubilee, Lauren B, and Amber. That's a good tally.

But every time he kisses one of the girls, it's oh-so-very-awkward. Maybe because no one knows the next time Lace is going to barge through the curtains by the pool and interrupt them, but there's something about the positioning, the rhythm, I mean, forget about the hot tub make out session. Did you see him loom over Lauren B. in a stunt plane?

Of course, the girls that have gotten to lock lips with Ben are just clamoring to do it again. But it's entirely possible that they are under the spell of #WINNING to notice that he kisses like a little bird eating a worm out of mama-bird's mouth. There's no tongue and there's lot's of noise. It's hard to watch...

... Like this first kiss from last week.

But this has been going on since he was on The Bachelorette with Kaitlyn Bristowe.

Is he resuscitating her?

It's bad form to make kissing seem like The Most Important Thing. But it is a big deal (unlike Olivia's oversized toes). Viewers were getting the bad kisser vibe, too on Monday night:

Luckily, like most things, practice can make perfect. And you can fix a bad kisser. That is if you don't wound his ego in the process. But Ben seems like a guy who would be willing to do whatever it takes to please. In the name of future smoochers, an underdog like Caila or JoJo needs to get over their crushes and speak up already. It's too much to watch.
