Megan Fox May Be Pregnant With Her Third Child, But The Big Reveal Was Super Low-Key

by Melanie Schmitz

During an appearance on Monday night, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Transformers actress Megan Fox revealed that she was pregnant — sort of. Stepping onto the red carpet at a CinemaCon event, the 29-year-old seemed to be sporting a very visible baby bump, though neither official sources nor Fox's rep were able to confirm the news. If the rumors are correct, however, it means that Fox will be welcoming baby number three into her household in a matter of months. Update: 'People' claimed to have confirmed the pregnancy with sources close to the actress on Friday, stating in a report that Fox and husband Brian Austin Green had reconciled and that he was the baby's father. Neither actors' reps have come forward to comment.

E! News claimed that "multiple sources" had confirmed the pregnancy, but added that Fox's rep "had no comment on the pregnancy speculation."

If the photos are any indication, Fox could very well be on her way to motherhood for a third time: Clad in a dark gray leather jacket and an fitted black and white mini-dress, Fox seemed to be openly flaunting her adorable bump in between posing with TMNT co-star Will Arnett.

Fox filed for divorce from estranged husband Brian Austin Green, 42, in August last year, after five years of marriage, according to Us Weekly. Green filed for spousal support shortly thereafter. Despite the "rocky" relationship, sources told the magazine that the split was "amicable" and that the two remained friendly for their sons, 3-year-old Noah and 2-year-old Bodhi.

However, the estranged couple has been spotted around Los Angeles several times over the past few months, leading many to believe that a reconciliation of sorts was in the works. In March, the two were seen exiting the Sweet Butter Cafe in Studio City, California, and a few months earlier, E! reported that the duo had been spotted alone together at a movie theater. The outlet claimed sources had also caught a glimpse of Fox and Green with younger son Bodhi and Green's parents in Toluca Lake that same month.

In November, an unnamed source close to the actress claimed that Fox had filed for divorce after becoming "overwhelmed" by Green's "expectations."

"She was overwhelmed with the children and her husband's expectations, which got in the way of work responsibilities," the source told People, in a statement. "They had many disagreements and arguments about her time at home, which led to problems." Still, the outlet noted that the estranged couple seemed to be trying to make things work, frequently running errands in town with their children in tow.

Of course, aside from her personal life, Fox has been wildly busy career-wise as well: On Location Vacations reported that principal photography on TMNT 2 began last March, just ahead of Fox's debut as Reagan on the hit comedy New Girl this year, a role which earned her critical accolades and led some to even question whether Fox could take over as a series regular herself.

Despite the fact that no one's entirely sure whether Megan Fox is really pregnant, it seems there are plenty of things going on in the actress' life that deserve just as much applause and attention — an adorable new tot would just be the cherry on top of an already amazing sundae.
