Romper & H&M Are Adding An Eco-Friendly Spin To Back-To-School Season At Camp Romper — Here's How To Participate

by Bustle Studios

Back-to-school season is one of the most exciting times of the year. From meeting teachers and conquering classes to making new friends and shopping for new clothes, there are so many things to celebrate alongside your kid. For moms, environmentally conscious clothing is at the top of the list.

This September, Romper has partnered with H&M to make your kids’ return to school more sustainable. If you want to see the program in action, you’ll find them at this year’s Camp Romper on Sunday, September 22, where the retailer will host a clothing swap. To participate, just bring your kid’s old, outgrown (or outworn!) garments to H&M’s booth and swap it for a seriously fresh T-shirt screen printed right in front of you. Plus, you'll receive a 15 percent-off coupon to use on your next H&M purchase.

With five heartwarming, inclusive affirmations to choose from (like "You can sit with me" and "We are beautiful, inside and out"), the only tricky part will be selecting your little one’s newest back-to-school mantra.

But the best part — aside from the fantastic screen-printed tees and your recycling reward — is that it's the perfect time to introduce your kids to sustainability in a truly fun environment.

If you aren’t planning to go to Camp Romper and your kids’ wardrobes are overflowing with unwanted clothing, you can still recycle these garments year-round at an H&M store near you and claim a 15 percent discount off your next purchase.
