Corinne's Pre-'Bachelor' Job Is Full Of Success

by Megan Walsh

The contestants on The Bachelor aren't exactly known for having the most believable careers, but some of those professed professions are less believable than others. Remember last season of The Bachelorette's "hipster" and "Canadian"? Still, plenty are just run of the mill normal: hairstylists, teachers, journalists. Season 21 of The Bachelor brings Corinne Olympios to center stage, who says she is a business owner, which definitely lands in the normal category. But what business does Corinne own exactly?

It's not actually clear. According to her, it's "an online business" that is "very important to me, but the cool thing is it's online, so I can run it from anywhere." That would explain why getting a few weeks off to hang around the Bachelor mansion wasn't a big deal. But that doesn't actually explain what her business is, and her LinkedIn has no explanations either.

But it does look like Corinne's business is a family affair. In an interview with Yahoo, Chris Harrison said that Corinne "runs her parents' multimillion-dollar company" though she's only twenty-four. Still, that doesn't provide any real answer about what this business actually does, though apparently the skills gleaned from her business ventures cause Corinne to "approach The Bachelor process with a business boardroom attitude," in Harrison's words.

But that's not all Corinne's career is comprised of. She has profiles up on both ExploreTalent and Model Mayhem that express her interest in modeling and acting. On ExploreTalent, Corinne claims to have been modeling and acting for two years, stating that she is "ready to get to work and work hard. I have a passion for modeling, acting, and singing and will blow you away across the board." She calls it her "dream," and recounts past music video experience with "Pitpul," Akon, DJ Kahled, and others. She also mentions shooting a TV pilot called Unorthodox Approach that doesn't seem to have gone anywhere.

Corinne is similarly passionate in her Model Mayhem profile. "Being on set is my happy place and I will do whatever it takes to fulfill my dreams and goals," she says, and also mentions that she travels between NYC and Miami, where she's from. That would make an online business appealing, especially if she's running things while balancing her other career aspirations.

Now, there are no guarantees, but a Google search of the name Olympios in the Miami area turns up a James Olympios with a relative named Corinne who works for a company called ArmorGarage Inc. that supplies "high performance premium grade epoxy coatings and flooring products" to the U.S. military, Fortune 500 companies, and various shop and home owners. That certainly fits the bill of a multimillion-dollar company, but it's difficult to connect Corinne's name to it.

Whether Corinne is actually involved in ArmorGarage or if her family business is something entirely different, it looks like snagging a spot on The Bachelor is making her showbiz dreams come true.
