Jessa Duggar Is Still As Busy As Ever

by Kenza Moller

Reality TV star Jessa Seewald first came into the limelight as one of 19 Duggar children on TLC's 19 Kids and Counting, the show that documented her parents' ever-growing family. Now, the 24-year-old herself is all grown up: She's been married for over two years now, and just gave birth to her second child, Henry Wilberforce, earlier this month. But what does Jessa (Duggar) Seewald do now, considering that TLC aired the final episode of 19 Kids and Counting in 2015?

As it turns out, Jessa is still very much involved in reality TV, and she and TLC are apparently still close, despite the network's cancellation of 19 and Counting nearly two years ago. TLC now airs Counting On, which features a more limited set of Duggars (with the occasional appearance made by other Duggars): the show mainly focuses on Jessa, her sister Jill Dillard, and their two husbands. Just last week, Jessa and her partner Ben discovered the gender of their second baby — that would be the now-born Henry Wilberforce — on-air, while her sister began her bachelorette weekend.

Jessa and Ben also have their own blog, The Seewald Family, where they share updates and pictures of their family. The two are now parents to infant Henry and 1-year-old Spurgeon Elliot.

Counting On may be a relatively young show, compared to 19 Kids and Counting, but the Seewalds have already weathered some controversy on it. According to Raw Story, after the Orlando shooting in June, Jessa posted a quote on Facebook from an anti-LGBT Christian leader, which drew criticism from followers and led several media outlets to question whether Counting On would be canceled. The show has carried on despite the controversy, though, with three seasons under its belt now.

Other than that, Jessa has been busy with her two little ones, and she has plans to add a few more kids to her family, as well. "Right now we have two kids and there’s two of us, so it’s man-to-man coverage," Jessa told People of her and Ben's parenting strategy on Tuesday. "When we have more, we’ll have to switch it up to a zone defense!"

The couple is also considering fostering and adopting, according to People, and they're considering moving to a bigger home in order to accommodate their growing family. "My mom always says, ‘Love doesn’t divide, it multiplies,’" Jessa told People.

With a growing family and a busy filming schedule, it seems like Jessa hasn't slowed down at all since her 19 Kids and Counting days. To see what her life looks like now, tune into TLC on Mondays at 9 p.m. to catch Counting On.
