Star Wars fever is back in swing, and fans couldn’t be happier, because for them it means tons of cool new merchandise. With The Last Jedi set to release on Dec. 15, folks are scrambling to get last minute Star Wars gifts, including the newest, cutest new characters in the franchise — Porgs. So if you’re trying to get your hands on a Porg in time for the holidays, you'll need to know what sites are shipping Porgs overnight in time for Christmas.
If you aren’t familiar with Porgs, they are little puffin-like creatures recently introduced in The Last Jedi’s movie trailer. The short scene, in which a Porg is seen riding shotgun with Chewie, excited fans all over the world, and the internet was abuzz with theories and analysis on how Porgs would fit into the storyline. And because they are just so darned cute, Star Wars fans would love to get a Porg for Christmas, but time is running out to buy them online.
While not many online stores are offering overnight shipping on Porgs, there are three on Amazon that you can get overnight. This Star Wars: The Last Jedi Porg Electronic Plush ($27, Amazon) is a soft, cuddly Porg that can waddle, wave, and make authentic sounds, and this Star Wars The Last Jedi Porg on Board Figure Suction Cup Plush ($19, Amazon) is a great travel buddy, with a suction cups to stick onto a car window. For the Funko collectible enthusiast, you can check out this Flocked Funko Pop! Star Wars The Last Jedi Porg ($25, Amazon). All three are available on Amazon for overnight shipping with an additional cost, just note that shipping times and availability really depend on your location, so they might vary.
There are however a whole flock of Porgs you can get with two-day shipping. With Amazon’s Prime Shipping, which is available for a free 30-day trial if you don’t already have it, you can get this tiny, 6-inch Funko Porg Galactic Plush Figure ($25, Amazon) which would make the perfect stocking stuffer, or you could get this huge, 16-inch Star Wars Ep 8 Porg Plush Pillow Buddy ($44, Amazon) that would be great to cuddle with.
Target has this Star Wars Porg Throw Blanket & Pillow Buddy ($13, Target) which is perfect for snuggly naps, and this Star Wars Porg Brown & White Throw Pillow ($26, Target) would make a great addition to any fan’s home. Both are available on Target’s website, just choose express shipping at checkout.
If you are in more of a rush to find a Porg, you can take a chance at your local stores, too. Best Buy has a few Porgs, including this plush robotic Underground Toys - Star Wars Animatronic Porg ($20, Best Buy), this Hasbro - Star Wars: The Last Jedi Porg Electronic Plush Toy ($30, Best Buy), a suction cupped Star Wars Porg on Board Figure ($15, Best Buy), and this Funko POP! Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Porg - Collectible Figure ($6, Best Buy). All four of these may be available at your local Best Buy store, so it’s worth a shot to go check it out if you're in a hurry to get them.
You can also check other local stores, like Target, Walmart, and Barnes and Nobles for Porg merchandise. If you live near a Disney Store, you may find one there, and your nearest Hot Topic might even carry the Funko version. Even though it’s down to the wire, there still is time to get a Porg for Christmas. Just factor in the possibility that winter weather, or your location, could vary the shipping speed, so get shopping as soon as possible.
