Yup, Megyn Kelly Will Interview The Kardashians

Some things just belong together. Peanut butter and jelly, Obama and Biden, and pizza and beer, just to name a few perfect pairings. And now, Megyn Kelly and the Kardashians. Alright, so that doesn't exactly make a lot of sense, but it's happening. For the first episode of her new show with NBC, ex-Fox News lead anchor Megyn Kelly will be interviewing most of the Kardashian Klan, TMZ reported this week. And as the show will likely be equal parts awkward, awesome, and interesting, it's likely to be a pretty hot ticket. So, when is Megyn Kelly's interview with the Kardashians? Her new show will premiere with the episode this June, sources say.

It was back in January when Kelly made headlines for her Fox News departure, leaving her popular show, "The Kelly File," amid a feud with then-presidential candidate, Donald Trump, and many revelations in her tell-all book, including sexual assault allegations against Roger Ailes, former chairman of Fox News. Ailes stepped down as CEO last July, following allegations from several women, but has publicly denied all the claims, issuing a statement shortly before his departure in which he claimed the allegations against him were "false."

Kelly's new deal with NBC positions her as host of "a daytime news and discussion program, anchor [of] a Sunday-night newsmagazine show" and features her "in NBC’s political programming and other big-event coverage," according to The Washington Post. And now, it seems that her first big guests to appear on her new show will be the reality-star dynasty themselves, the Kardashians, with two notable exceptions.

Thursday, Kelly was spotted on the set of Keeping up with the Kardashians, prompting many to wonder what she was doing there. However, a source soon revealed to TMZ that Kelly was there to interview the Kardashian family, minus Rob Kardashian and Caitlyn Jenner. According to TMZ, "the interview would consume Kelly's premiere Sunday night show in June on NBC."

And while the exact date of the premiere episode featuring the Kardashians has yet to be announced, it is expected to happen in June, along with Kelly's other programming with NBC. Of course, many are wondering what exactly her interview will reveal about a family who already reveals so much to the public, and what someone as political as Kelly could glean from a conversation with the Kardashian family.

Whatever Kelly's new exclusive reveals, though, it's sure to be watched by many, as the host has a very loyal following, and has made her mark in the world of broadcast journalism world with her tough questions, unflinching honesty, and personal regard for her own morals. Between one of the most famous families in the world, and one of the most-recognizable names in cable television, Megyn Kelly's interview with the Kardashians will be interesting to watch, whatever happens.
