Target's Maternity Line Hits Stores Soon

by Kenza Moller

If you're already a frequent Target customer, you'll be happy to hear that there's now one more reason to spend time there: Target is partnering with Ingrid & Isabel to launch an awesome new maternity line, and the clothes promise to be an expecting mom's dream come true. If you've already flipped through the upcoming collection and drooled a bit, you might be wondering: um, exactly when will Target's new maternity line be available? Luckily, you won't have to wait too long at all.

Isabel Maternity by Ingrid & Isabel, as the exclusive new line is called, will be available in most stores and online on July 30, according to BuzzFeed. The line includes a total 120 pieces, and it will feature everything from Ingrid & Isabel's signature Bellaband to basic pieces to night-out dresses. Best of all? The prices will range from $9.99 to $39.99, meaning you don't have to break the bank in order to dress fashionably for nine months.

Ingrid Carney, the designer behind Ingrid & Isabel, said she first started creating maternity wear when she was pregnant with her daughter, Isabel. "We tested every item on real, pregnant women to ensure we were producing a reliable and flattering fit for every stage of pregnancy and beyond," Carney told Target. "The whole design process revolved around nine key principles: customized fit, function and fashion, versatility, fabrics, silhouette, color, print and pattern, details and care."

Carney broke down her Target fashion line into four stages as well, making it easy to shop throughout your entire pregnancy:

Isabel Maternity will feature some of Ingrid & Isabel's custom creations, too, including the Bellaband (a genius hack that lets you keep using your pre-maternity jeans unbuttoned) and the Afterband (which lends women support after birth).

If you're ready to start shopping before July 30, take a look at Ingrid & Isabel's Instagram for some maternity style inspiration, or check out a few advance snaps from the Isabel Maternity collection. Once you start shopping Isabel Maternity, you can also check out Target's Cloud Island line, an all-baby collaboration designed by Elisa McBride. It launched back in May, but new pieces will be rolling out until August, with most items under $20.

Between its new maternity and baby lines, it looks like Target is making a concerted effort to make motherhood both affordable and stylish for moms. And we're definitely here for that.
