Your Weekly Parenting Horoscope For August 14-20

It's true: Your zodiac sign can offer insight into plenty of random moments in your everyday life, from how you can best tackle your toddler's worst tantrums to identifying your career goals. Romper partnered with astrologer Maressa Brown to share how you can make what's going on up in the sky work for you and score even more bliss and balance in your day-to-day. Here's your weekly horoscope for the week of August 14-20.

Relationships (with anyone, really, but especially family) and work projects (particularly of the creative variety) may hit some roadblocks this week thanks to two headache-inducing aspects involving Venus, the planet of love. First, on Tuesday, the romance- and money-ruling planet opposes tough, transformation-triggering Pluto, and conflict could spring out of you or your bae or your boss gettin' all kinds of control freaky. Then, on Thursday, Venus forms a negative angle to big-picture Jupiter, which may make you more inclined to bite off more than you can chew (with the L.O.'s to-dos or involving your own tasks). Thankfully, you'll get an opportunity to create a major, positive shift, maybe very quickly, when game-changer Uranus forms a helpful angle to the confidence-boosting sun on Sunday.

Read more below to find out what this week's forecast means for your sign.

Aries (March 21–April 19)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

If you've been wondering where TF the chemistry between you and your bae has gone, you'll be able to switch up any kind of stale routine around Sunday when game-changer Uranus in your sign forms a positive angle to the sun in your fifth house of romance. Totally embrace whatever it is you feel like doing on a whim (like getting a sitter for a few hours so you can relocate sexy time to some TBD risque location), and the moment could have a rather wildly dynamic-shifting effect.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

Saying "yes" to everything being asked of you is a major risk — yep, even more than usual — around Thursday when sweet Venus forms a negative angle to big-picture Jupiter in your sixth house of daily routine. As a result, you run the risk getting cranky as hell. So, if you're gonna push to do all of the things, a little self-care may be necessary to avoid a total meltdown. (Let's be honest: Who says your toddler's the only one who can have one of those?)

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

You and your bae may clash over the best way to squeeze in one-on-one time around Tuesday. A work project might keep you up late on your designated date night, or your partner could get slammed with an assignment that will keep him or her from being your +1 to that big event. So. Annoying. Blame the planet of love, Venus, opposing control freaky Pluto in your eighth house of intimacy. If you can both do your best to go with the flow, you'll get through this rough patch with fewer resentments.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

This is unfortch well-tread territory for you, mama, but your tendency around Thursday will be to think you can do a gazillion things (host your in-laws, bake for that fundraiser, do all the drop-offs, etc.) — and then get agitated and overwhelmed. This will be thanks to the love planet Venus forming a negative angle to big-picture Jupiter in your fourth house of family life. Basically, less will be more, if you can delegate — or you know, just find ops to say "oh, hell no."

Leo (July 23-August 22)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

If you've been thinking about going back to school, going freelance, or switching up your work sched for more balance and time with your L.O., things could move really quickly around Sunday. That's when the sun in your sign forms a positive angle to game-changer Uranus — plus there's a major new moon in your sign the next day! Yeah, the move may initially seems completely nutso. But if you feel like it's right in your gut, you should definitely go for it.

Virgo (August 23-September 22)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

OK, yes, your ruling planet Mercury is retrograde in your sign RN, making communication more challenging, but around Sunday, you'll have the op to switch up an aspect about your love life that's just not working anymore. Game-changer Uranus in your eighth house of intimacy is forming a positive angle to the confidence-boosting sun, making now the time to tell your partner exactly how you're feeling (maybe in terms of how they've been helping out with the baby — or how you've been relating to one another). You've got this.

Libra (September 23-October 22)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

You could feel torn between work obligations and responsibilities to your fam around Thursday, thanks to Venus, the planet of love and money, forming a negative angle to big-picture Jupiter in your sign. You might feel crazy pressure from the mere volume and intensity of all the to-dos. See if you can take a step back and re-prioritize, and/or don't be shy about asking others to pitch in and help. You'll be even more of a badass multitasking mama for it, seriously!

Scorpio (October 23-November 21)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

Whether you've been arguing with your bae about the baby's feeding schedule or whether you can afford a new place, all hell could break loose around Tuesday. That's cuz romantic Venus is opposing transformative Pluto in your third house of communication, and both of you are going to want to be, above anything else, right. Taking a step back to consider the big picture might help you chill. Then, at least you can come back to the table with cooler heads (which, of course, may or may not prevail).

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

If you've been feeling like you're suffering from a total lack of fun lately, you might be inspired to do something rando with your partner (like hauling all the baby gear into the car and taking a spontaneous road trip to the beach) around Sunday. Change-inspiring Uranus in your fifth house of romance is forming a positive angle to confidence-boosting sun, and spontaneity can really inject your relationship with a lively, sexy energy. So fun.

Capricorn (December 22-January 19)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

You and your partner could have something of a standoff around an ongoing disagreement (maybe related to your schedules or finances) around Tuesday. Transformative Pluto in your sign is opposing romantic Venus, and only empathy and compromise can get you on the same page. But first, you might have to sit down and go over a bunch of nitty-gritty details (like bills). Ugh. Sucks. But at least, in the long-haul, you'll be glad you did it.

Aquarius (January 20-February 18)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

If you've been running the risk of burnout at work and at home (and let's be real: you definitely have), you'll probably have a stressful, but eye-opening moment around Tuesday. Transformative Pluto opposes Venus, the planet of love and money, in your sixth house of routine, and you might have a brainstorm about how you can score some flex time or reconfigure your sched to be less aggravating. Go for it.

Pisces (February 19-March 20)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

You may find yourself in a position to make a play for that new gig or take on a side hustle out of the blue around Sunday. The confidence-boosting sun forms a positive angle to game-changer Uranus in your second house of income, making you more willing than usual to take a leap. The result could be a less stressful daily grind — and extra cash. Seriously, yes. You definitely deserve this, mama.
