Lauren Silverman

Lauren Silverman is Deputy Head of Society & Culture at Gimlet Media. She’s helped run seasons of StartUp, Conviction, and How To Save A Planet. Before joining Gimlet, Lauren covered health, science and technology for NPR, Marketplace and KERA in Dallas. She was part of the Peabody Award-winning team that covered Ebola for NPR in 2014.

Lauren has told national stories on everything from gun violence and mental health laws to hospital cybersecurity and the high price of a worm known as the Viagra of the Himalayas.
