Susannah Felts is a writer based in Nashville, Tenn, and the co-founder/co-director of The Porch, a literary arts nonprofit. She writes a monthly lifestyle books column for BookPage, and her fiction and essays have appeared in Catapult, Lit Hub, Longreads, Guernica, Oxford American, The Best American Science & Nature Writing 2018, and elsewhere. She lives in East Nashville with her husband, daughter, and two cats.
