5 Times Pink Was A Badass Activist Mom

It's probably a goal of many moms around the world — raising kids who are evolved and engaged and want to make a difference in the world. Unfortunately, it's not always an easy task, what with working and schedules and play dates and just... life in general. How do moms make activism not only fun and interesting, but realistic? For example, take Pink. Because Pink is the activist mom of our dreams.

The Grammy award-winning singer is the mother of two, 6-year-old daughter Willow Sage and baby boy Jameson Moon, both with husband Carey Hart. Pink has made activism an integral priority in her life for years, supporting PETA, UNICEF, Save the Children, and the Human Rights campaign. She has also marched for women's rights, LGBTQ rights, and has become an outspoken champion for mothers since becoming one herself in 2011. In fact, she and husband Carey Hart recently completed a charity cycle of 100 miles to raise funds and awareness for No Kid Hungry, a charity working towards ending child hunger across the U.S. The 37-year-old singer raised $25,000 for the charity, and completed the race even though it was tough at the end. She shared her journey on Instagram, and said in a video at the end, according to Noise 11:

We made it. If the camera is shaking, it’s because my hands are shaking. I fell over, I cried, then I yelled, then I figured there was nothing else to do so I got back on my bike and finished it.

In other words, Pink doesn't just talk about making change. She works for it.

And she does the same with her children. Here are five times she was the most badass activist mom.

She Brought Her Kids To The Women's March

Pink, Hart, and both children (including 1-month-old Jameson) attended the Women's March in Los Angeles the day after President Trump's inauguration in January. Little Willow Hart even carried her own sign that read:

I'm strong. I love.

Pink shared a photo of the family on Instagram with the caption:

We march together.

She Encourages Her Kids To Love Animals

Pink supports PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), and even went naked for them in an ad back in 2015. On the home front with her own children, it looks as though she encourages kindness and gentle treatment of animals as well.

She Spoke Out For Organization Alliance Of Moms

Pink shared a video supporting the Alliance of Moms, a "new generation of philanthropists whose mission is to break the intergenerational cycle of babies born to teens in foster care." She included her daughter Willow in the video spreading awareness, and donated to the cause as well.

She Supports UNICEF Kid Power

The "Just Like Fire" singer shared a shout out to another worthy cause, UNICEF Kid Power. The concept is simple; get your kids active with their Unicef Kid Power App or Band, and watch them "transform their activity into lifesaving nutrition that UNICEF delivers to severely malnourished children around the world."

She Speaks Out In Support Of LGBTQ Rights

Pink has long been a supporter of the LGBTQ community, and she clearly hopes to guide her children in that direction. She shared this amazing snapshot of son Jameson the day after LGBTQ Pride Day wearing his rainbow sleeper with the caption:

I'm a day late but I'm cute so it doesn't matter. #happypride.

It looks as though Pink is doing whatever she can to raise kids who are aware of the world around them — no matter what.
