9 Things To Know About Blow Jobs, Other Than Your Guy Loves Them

It may be called a blow job, but there's not an ounce of easy blowing going on during these trysts is there? Instead, you have a penis in your mouth and ... well. That's really all I need to say, right? No more details necessary, but there are plenty of things to know about blow jobs.

For starters, blow jobs have been a part of life and sex for a long time. The French paleontologist Yves Coppens has theorized that even the first hominids engaged in oral sex, while The Cambridge Illustrated History of Prehistoric Art by Paul G. Bahn also features prehistoric ceramics with depictions of fellatio on them. I mean, I don't mind oral sex, but I can't imagine using an image of it to store my sugar, you know?

I think many people can agree that regardless of past cultures and thoughts on fellatio, none of us think it's the road to enlightenment or a means of stealing power from men. (We don't need blow jobs to do that, am I right?) So if you're looking for a little BJ enlightenment, here are a few things to know about blow jobs that you can share next time you go down on a guy. After all, who said oral can't be a mind blowing and mind-shaping experience.

His research found that 82 percent of the woman without pre-eclampsia performed fellatio while only 44 percent of those with the condition did. Apparently semen contains a growth factor that can help boost a mother's immune system to accept sperm. Apparently regular fellatio before becoming pregnant can influence her immune system to get used to her partner's sperm and keep her pregnancy safer.
