Kim K Shuts Down Drug Rumors In One Succinct Tweet

Kim Kardashian-West has no time for anyone's nonsense, especially when it comes to her reputation. When rumors recently hit the internet about the reality star and mother of two concerning possible drug use, she was on it. Kim Kardashian shut down rumors that she took a photo with cocaine in one succinct tweet.

As with all things Kardashian, the internet was in a panting frenzy at the hint of any sign of possible scandal. So when the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star shared a picture on her Snapchat Story with two suspicious looking white lines on a table in the background, you can imagine everyone's euphoria. Could North West and Saint West's mom really be sharing a picture with cocaine in the background? Especially when she was using the Snapchat space to promote The Kids Supply, the new children's clothing line she and husband Kanye West started in May? After all, the white powder was lined up in a cocaine-using sort of way, much like we've all seen in gangster movies and such.

Many social media users immediately picked up on the similarity between those two little lines and possible cocaine patterns (however inaccurate that belief may have been). And not only did they pick up the connection, they took to the internet in the hopes of helping others make the connection.

Kardashian, however, was having none of it. Rather than allowing the rumor to fester while she avoided the drama in stoic silence, she shut it down with one (adorably mom-like) tweet.

Kardashian told fans that the "cocaine" was actually just a bunch of sugar left over from a "candy mess." from Dylan's Candy Shop. Many fans were skeptical of Kardashian's G-rated explanation and (as ever) took to social media to call her out.

Unfortunately for Kim, the thirst for any Kardashian drama is running at a spectacular high in the days since her brother Rob Kardashian's unconscionable social media meltdown over his ex, Blac Chyna. After Rob took to Instagram to post nude photos of Blac Chyna, allegedly without her permission (continuing on Twitter after his Instagram account was reportedly shut down), Chyna was granted a restraining order against him.

In other words, no matter what happened, the internet was going to have a field day. The timing of this latest possible "scandal" could not have been worse, all things considered.

The good news is, Kim Kardashian seems to be made of pretty damn stern stuff. She has weathered much worse than this, so let's just give her a break, shall we?
