Lauren Conrad's Latest Bump Pic Is #Goals

Lauren Conrad has come a long way since her days on The Hills. She's a designer, a writer, a lifestyle guru, and has probably the best highlights I've ever seen in my life (sorry Jennifer Aniston, you've been bumped). And now Conrad has something else: a baby on the way. And she is naturally a super adorable pregnant woman, as evidenced by her far-too-infrequent Instagram updates showcasing all the ways she's nesting in preparation for baby. This week, Conrad also shared an Instagram of her bump while on vacation, and yes it too was naturally perfect. I attribute it to the filters — it just has to be the Instagram filters.

The 31-year-old fashion designer and her husband, William Tell, shared their pregnancy news in January. Conrad took to Instagram on New Year's Day to share her sonogram picture with the caption, "Happy New Year! I have a feeling 2017 is going to be the best year yet... " Since sharing her perfectly coordinated pregnancy news with her fans, Conrad has been all about the baby. Whether she's posting pregnancy etiquette tips on her website ("Don't touch the belly without asking!" is a particular favorite of mine since it's very true) or sharing belly pics on Instagram, Conrad is clearly excited. And her most recent "babymoon" stunner is no different.

Conrad captioned the photo:

Babymooning and pretending my blended lemonade is a margarita.

And yet she didn't tell her followers which perfect, white sand beach she happened to be lying on. I suspect it's because that beach exists on a higher plane, one that can only be reached by Instagram users who have kept their posts color-coordinated for five consecutive years. Like Conrad.

The last time we got a gander at Conrad's burgeoning baby bump was back in January. She captioned the pic:

oh hello, cutest baby bump ever! @laurenconrad we can't wait to meet your little bundle!

Her tasteful baby bump was nearly upstaged by her amazing highlights (seriously, I just can't get enough) and her relaxed-yet-perfect maternity wardrobe of nude cardigan and striped dress. It almost makes my own maternity wardrobe seem... well. Best not to dwell.

Style, celebrity, and killer highlights aside, I think Conrad is going to be a great mom. Yes, she will probably be the kind of mom who makes it all look easy and yes, some of us might have to do battle with the green monster we call envy. But here's the thing: She seems like a nice girl. She is obviously excited to be a mom. What more is there, really?
