The Best Black Friday 2017 Toy Sales, Because Even Santa Could Use Some Help

Something about shopping for toys on Black Friday feels a little bit like those shopping sprees that were featured on '80s game shows, right? It's a lot of people running and jumping, and knocking stacks of toys in their shopping baskets as fast as they can while trying not to break any limbs. But with a plan to scope out the best Black Friday 2017 toy sales, you can be the calm amongst the storm, strolling along with your latte in one hand, shopping list in the other.

The lists below are organized by store and suss out the best toy deals amongst the many Black Friday ads. If you are looking for popular toys, like Barbie and Legos, then you will want to check out Toys "R" Us and Walmart. If Melissa and Doug errrythang is your jam, then Macy's is the place to be. And if you want to stay at home in your pajamas, hello Amazon.

As you are sorting through the deals, be sure to do a once over of your local ads since deals may vary based on location. And most of all? Stay chill because I've got your back with the inside scoop on all of the things that will put a smile on your favorite kiddos' faces.

Toys "R" Us

Toys "R" Us really wasn't a thing when I was a kid, or at least my parents let my sister and I think that. But when our younger brothers came along, I distinctly remember the age when they would await the arrival of the Toys "R" Us Big Book. Now the excitement of that holiday catalog is preceded by Black Friday deals, and the sales are no less noteable. Check out a few below.

Thursday In-Store Doorbusters (5 p.m. - Midnight)

Black Friday Sale Deals (5 p.m. Thursday through close on Saturday)

As if you need a reason to go to Target, right? Locations will open their doors at 6 p.m. Thanksgiving Day until midnight, according to a Target rep. Then they'll reopen at 6 a.m., on Friday, Nov. 24. If you're set up with the store's credit or debit card, it's important to note that Target REDcard holders get access to select Black Friday deals early, online, in stores, and via their app. Like all Target trips, plan to leave with much more than you intended.

At the time of publication, Walmart had not yet released their Black Friday ad, but, lucky for you, that's where BestBlackFriday.com saves the day with its Walmart ad scans. According to the site, doors will open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving night, and you can shop the entire day online.

Lucky for you, Amazon has already kicked off its Black Friday deals with their Countdown to Black Friday. Check it out for daily updates on the best steal, including electronics, kitchen items, clothing and shoes, and toys. I mean, why brave the Black Friday lines and mayhem when you can score big from the comfort of your home, right?

Kohl's

At the time of publication, Kohl's had not yet released their Black Friday ad, but that's where BestBlackFriday.com comes in handy again. According to the site, you can shop Kohl's Black Friday deals in stores and online starting at 5 p.m. on Nov. 23. Plus, you'll earn $15 Kohl's Cash for every $50 spent on toys (or any items for that matter) for your little ones.
