'Pretty Little Liars' Will Finally Reveal Charlotte's Killer

by Zakiya Jamal

With only two episodes left of Pretty Little Liars, it looks like fans are finally getting the answers they've been waiting for. This week's episode will finally reveal who killed Charlotte on Pretty Little Liars and the answer may shock viewers. Charlotte died back in Season 6 and it was her death that marked the entrance of A.D., or Uber A, if you prefer. Initially, A.D. wanted the Liars to discover who killed Charlotte, however they seemed to have gotten sidetracked from that idea — but fans certainly didn't.

Ever since Charlotte's murder, fans have wondered who the culprit was and what their motive could've been. There are a wide range of suspects out there since Charlotte wasn't exactly well liked, and that's putting it lighly. It seems just about anyone could've been capable of committing the crime. But who really wanted Charlotte dead? Was it Melissa or Wren? Maybe Archer or Lucas? How about one of the Liars themselves? Or perhaps one of their significant others? What about Jenna? Or Mona? Honestly, the list goes on and on, and thankfully we won't have to wait much longer to find out the truth once and for all.

Until the big reveal though, here are some of the more likely suspects in Charlotte's murder and their possible motives. Some may even surprise you.

Mona

Byron Cohen/Freeform

Fans have suspected for a while that Mona killed Charlotte, but a new photo from the penultimate episode of Season 7 seems to confirm it. In the photo, Mona is holding purple flowers (above) that look very similar to the one Charlotte had in her hand when she was found dead. However, as Instagram user bethany_is_a points out, the flowers aren't exactly the same color so is this proof or just another red herring?

Melissa

Melissa was the number one suspect in Charlotte's murder from the very beginning, mainly because she had the motive. It was Charlotte who broke up Melissa and Wren. Why wouldn't Melissa want revenge?

Lucas

It was recently revealed that Lucas was friends with Charlotte back when they were younger. Maybe he killed Charlotte when he figured out that it was his fault Charlotte targeted the Liars in the first place. Or maybe she threatened to divulge their friendship to the Liars and this was the only way to keep her quiet. Either way, Lucas seems to have a possible motive as well.

Wren

Wren has always been a suspicious character and his random meet-up with Spencer (or her twin) at the airport has only made fans more skeptical. Maybe he didn't appreciate Charlotte's warning about Melissa as much as fans thought.

Archer Dunhill

Archer turned out to be the worst husband ever, so it wouldn't be all that surprising if he actually did kill Charlotte. Maybe he was worried he'd tell Ali about their torrid affair. If he did kill Charlotte, at least he already got what was coming to him.

Spencer's Twin

Eric McCandless/Freeform

If Spencer actually does have a twin, maybe she killed Charlotte because she discovered the truth. They are siblings after all. However, why not kill Spencer too? Or did she...

Make sure to tune in to Pretty Little Liars on Tuesday, June 20 at 8 p.m. ET on Freeform to find out who killed Charlotte once and for all.
