Serena Williams & Alexis Ohanian Are The Ultimate Power Couple

Serena Williams is a superhero, this we know for sure. So you've really got to wonder about the man who she is set to marry. After all, Williams is not only a tennis star of monumental proportion, but she's also a general badass. Who in the world could have been so blessed as to sweep this particular Super Woman off her feet? Who exactly is Serena Williams' fiancé?

Well he's no slouch himself. Sure, he's not a four-time Olympic gold medalist. He's never won 23 Grand Slam titles as has Williams. But Williams' fiancé, 33-year-old Alexis Ohanian, is the co-founder of social media site Reddit. According to The Sun, Ohanian was born in Brooklyn in 1983. His mother is German, his father Armenian-American. Ohanian attended the University of Virginia until 2005, when he and fellow classmate Steve Huffman invented this little thing called Reddit. He was only 22 years old.

Today, Reddit is the seventh-largest website in the U.S. and is estimated to be worth around $500 million. Ohanian and his partner might have sold Reddit to Condé Nast, but he has stayed active as a best selling writer and a political activist, particularly in matters related to the internet. Plus, let's not forget... he's set to marry Williams.

The couple, who have tried to keep their private lives separate from their very public profiles, reportedly met in October 2015 and began quietly dating. When it was time to announce they were engaged, naturally they shared the exciting (and sweetly romantic) news via Reddit. Williams shared a thread that read:

I came home / A little late / Someone had a bag packed for me / And a carriage awaited / Destination: Rome / To escort me to my very own "charming" / Back to where our stars first collide / And now it was full circle / At the same table we first met by chance / This time he made it not by chance / But by choice / Down on one knee / He said 4 words / And / isaidyes.

And now the happy couple have even more great news: On Wednesday Williams shared a picture via Snapchat of her bump. That's right, she's pregnant (and was newly pregnant when she won her 23rd Grand Slam, no less).

Williams captioned the photo "20 weeks." Which means she's already about halfway there.

It's obviously an exciting time for Williams and Ohanian, a couple who share a drive to succeed, determination... and pretty soon, a human being. Like I said, badass.
