Fans Love Nick & Maks' Bromance On 'DWTS'

Earlier this season, the budding bromance between Nick Viall and Maks Chmerkovskiy was touched on, but the second half of the Season 24 finale elaborated on it in the best way. And all of the reactions to Nick and Maks' bromance on Dancing With the Stars prove that it should have been delved into this deeply long ago. They're like the couple we never knew we needed, but now that the season is more or less over, it would have been pretty special and entertaining to get to watch them for more than one episode.

On the season finale of DWTS Tuesday night, there was a whole package put together showcasing the bromance and faux relationship between Viall and Chmerkovskiy, complete with picking the lint off each other's shirts in a very intimate way and wearing matching shirts proclaiming their love for each other. It was everything fans would have eaten up if they'd been able to show that while the two were still competing on DWTS during Season 24, and now, the reactions to Viall and Chmerkovskiy's bromance make that hard to deny.

With Viall being partnered with Chmerkovskiy's fianceé, Peta Murgatroyd, and Viall's Bachelor fianceé Vanessa Grimaldi appearing on an episode or two, the couples did manage to go on some double dates, so Viall and Chmerkovskiy were able to build up a kind of playful repertoire even before Season 24 of DWTS officially started.

Earlier in the season, when Viall had the help of Chmerkovskiy in a routine he was to perform with Murgatroyd, their bromance really seemed to bloom on camera, but since Viall wasn't long for the show, the two didn't get the opportunity to showcase their comical love for each other again.

But now that fans have seen Viall and Chmerkovskiy's bromance once more on DWTS, the general consensus seems to be that fans wanted this all along.

The only thing that would have made their bromance even better was to get to see Viall and Chmerkovskiy dance together on the ballroom floor, but with all of the performances and looks back on the overall season, there wasn't much time for anything gratuitous like an amazing routine with Viall and Chmerkovskiy in the season finale.

In the package on DWTS, both men were clearly smitten with each other, admiring the other and dreamily talking about them in kind of the perfect way. Naturally, fans loved it and their reactions were likely accurate of everyone else watching.

For all of the Bachelor fans who were sad to see Viall eliminated as early as he was this season, the bromance between him and Chmerkovskiy was like an epic consolation prize. But now that we've seen it, it's sad to think that that's the end of it.
