After graduating with a dual Bachelor’s in English and Communications & Theater, Julie cut her teeth in the media industry as an editorial assistant for Charleston Home + Design Magazine. Within a year, she became editor-in-chief, a role which she remained in for five years before shifting into a full-time freelance career so she could pack up her husband, two children, and two oversized rescue dogs to roll around the U.S. in an RV for three years.
